Hello World!

The obligatory first post.

This is written to my future self. Why do I want to write?

1. I have thoughts that I think at least 1 other person on this planet may find useful
2. If that’s not true, then at the very least, this will act as a time machine and give my future self a glimpse back in time at the things I found important enough to write about
3. Writing in a long form style like a blog will force me to better formulate my thoughts, which I find refreshing in this current state where everything is a short video or needs to be less than 128 characters to keep someone’s attention

Closing this post with “Goodbye World” would have been cute. But that seems too dark.
